Twinbrook Tudor Renovation
Chester County
Portfolio: Twinbrook Tudor Renovation
THIS EXTRAORDINARY STONE 1933 tudor revival house received numerous updates and alterations with the goal of being as undetectable and timeless as possible. Once a home very much divided between “Served and Servant” spaces, the new owners wanted to make use of all areas of the home and gardens. Old segregations and disused compartmentalization were swept away in favor of creating an open plan with state-of-the-art kitchen connecting directly to the garden, and reducing the number of bedrooms from eight to five with a luxurious master suite and extensive dressing room. The new driveway gate provides practical deer protection for the garden and code compliance for the pool.
