Rathburn Hall
Grove City College
RATHBURN HALL, together with nearby beautiful 1929 gothic style harbison chapel, forms the center of spiritual life on the Grove City College campus. Serving as the home for the Dean of the Chapel and more than 23 student-run ministries, Rathburn Hall houses a large fellowship hall, a great room (or board room), seminar and meeting space. The new facility allows the College to expand institutional outreach, spiritual fellowship and social programs, and provides a venue to host conferences and forums. The Grove City College campus was designed by the Olmstead Brothers (the sons and successor firm to that of famous landscape architect Fredrick Law Olmstead). The 16,500 SF building, designed with a traditional aesthetic in keeping with the collegiate Gothic/Tudor style of the College’s buildings, builds on and respects the original Olmstead campus plan.
