Fairville Residence

THE CLIENTS SOUGHT A VERY PRIVATE HOME reminiscent of a meandering European country house, with layers of indoor and outdoor rooms creating a distinct sequence of use from public to private. The result is a stone home with limestone details and a magnificent clay tile roof in the English style (though made in Turkey). We explored the contrasts of large and small-scale elements to create spaces and volumes that are both grand and intimate across an extensive program to support a range of family gatherings and activities.
