Devon Horse Show Pavilion

WE WERE ASKED TO DESIGN a new 7,000 square foot multi-function building of the show grounds to upgrade the administrative and emergency services of the iconic Devon Horse Show as well as to provide second level social spaces that could be used year round for Sponsor Parties overlooking the activities of the showgrounds.

The famous Grandstands and Committee Stand surrounding the Dixon Oval were to remain the dominant ‘image’ of Devon, so our building needed to echo the themes of the property but not overshadow them. Using the familiar palette of blue and white throughout on board and batten plus sheltering overhangs protecting expansive walls of glass make this a vibrant contribution to the historic show grounds.
