LOCATED IN A BEAUTIFUL AGRARIAN LANDSCAPE, this corporate campus encompasses buildings that reflect the scale and character of the region’s farm heritage. This included a restored farmhouse and two new barn-like office structures. The company’s leadership wished to expand and provide sophisticated conference, entertainment and office space for attracting new and servicing existing clients. Archer & Buchanan Architecture designed a new stand alone “gem” of a modern office building overlooking a stream and set on a sloped site that faces a heavily wooded valley. The two-level 10,000 SF facility is designed to contrast with the other campus buildings and take full advantage of views and daylight offered . The entrance façade sets visitors up for a beautiful surprise view into the tree canopy of the wooded area beyond. Additionally, the central stair makes building users conscious of the site’s sloped contour when moving from floor to floor.
