All Around Farm
Gwynedd Valley
ORIGINALLY PART OF A LARGE SUMMER ESTATE, this c. 1870 carriage barn was used as a car storage facility during World War II and later as the internationally recognized show barn of professional horseman Junie Kulp. When we were engaged by the new owners, it had been neglected for years and fallen into disrepair but was still structurally sound. We brought the barn into the 21st century for new owners wishing to restore and adapt it as their home and stable. The center of the 9,750 SF āUā plan became a complete residence with state-of-the-art kitchen, expansive master suite, guest suites and home office, all capitalizing on the magnificent heavy timber construction of the period. Horse stables were restored to their initial glory and include a wash stall and tack room.
