Rathburn Hall

Grove City College

The new Rathburn Hall is sited near the beautiful 1929 Gothic-style Harbison Chapel.  Together the two buildings form the center of spiritual life on the Grove City College campus. Rathburn Hall serves as the home for the Dean of the Chapel and more than 23 student-run ministries.  It also houses a large fellowship hall, a great room (or board room), seminar and meeting space.  The new facility allows the College to expand institutional outreach, spiritual fellowship and social programs, and provides greater opportunity to host conferences and forums.

The Grove City College campus was designed by Olmstead Brothers (the sons and successor firm to that of Fredrick Law Olmstead).  The College has remained true to the Olmstead plan and the new 15,000 sf structure builds on and respects the original campus plan.  The building has a traditional aesthetic in keeping with the collegiate Gothic / Tudor style of all the College’s buildings.
